Thanks Mom
Like I said before I have the best Mom. My Mom made Jeanie a pioneer dress for her trek a couple of weeks ago and it was so cute. I never got to go on a trek or get a pioneer dress, and I really wanted one. Jeanie's was seriously like the American Girl dresses. So I asked my Mom if she could make me one and of course she said yes because she loves me and she is just that wonderful. So here is my pioneer dress. I am the Primary Chorister in our ward and so on Sunday I had the whole time for music. Since Pioneer Days is coming up I wanted to do pioneer songs so it was a perfect opportunity to wear my dress. As the kids walked in to primary they were so excited. It was so cute to see all the little girls gawk over my dress and tell me how beautiful it was. I'm really clumsy too so I was going bare foot because I had serious damage to my left foot and the kids were convinced that pioneers also went bare foot. All of the kids wanted to go bare foot too so they did. It was so much fun. I love my calling. So thanks Mom. I love it so much.

Visitors
So yesterday morning I went out to water the tomatoes and saw some visitors. I saw three little kittens by the grapes and it freaked me out(because naturally kittens are scarry). I ran in to tell Matt and by the time we came back out, they were gone. He thought I might have imagined it and I could tell he didn't believe me all day. Which really bothered me because I'm not crazy. So around 7:00 last night I went on a mission to find them. So finally we found them in the rosemary bushes. We tried to lure them out but I didn't want him to touch them. A little while later we went back out and the mom was there nursing five kittens. So I am not a big animal lover, especially cat lover, but puppies, kittens, anything little is so cute. Today they were here for awhile, but we think the mom moved them because we can't find them again. Anyway, that was our excitement. Pretty boring lives huh.

For My Dad
This past Sunday was Father's Day and we happened to be with my family for our reunion. Well as we were playing a game called Buzzword on Friday night my husband made us all laugh again. My Dad thought it was so funny that he made me promise to put it on my blog so we would remember it. Here is the story. In the game you have a word for example "moon". All of the answers contain the word moon. The boys were on their own team and my dad was reading the clues. One of the clues said "Wolves howl at this...". My sweet husband then yelled out, "Bow", yes as in Bow at the moon. It was one of those instances where you had to be there. The funniest part about it was that my Dad couldn't stop laughing. He thought it was so funny that Matt would say "Bow", as in "Bow at the moon" like a dog. Matt does many wonderful things, but he can always make us laugh. Love you Matt and love you Dad.

"Chim-e-ney"
So I have a pretty silly husband. Jeanie, Matt, and I were talking last night and for some reason chimneys came up in our conversation. My husband Matt thinks you say "chimney", "chim-e-ney". Yes like on Mary Poppins "chim chim-e-ney, chim chim-e-ney chim chim charoo". We tried to convince him that no in fact we were not chimney sweepers and that it's said as chimney but we couldn't. So if you are ever having a conversation with him and he says "chim-e-ney" please correct him.

Waite Family Reunion 2008
We just got back from our big trip back east. We went and hung out with Matt's brother and family for a few days in Alexandria, Virginia and then headed out to Duck, North Carolina for a week. It was so beautiful. If we could pick up all of our family and move out there, we would. We did a lot of fun things. I don't want to bore anyone so I'll just list them real quick. Fun park in DC, Air & Space Museum, Adrienne's Pre-School Graduation, Beach, Currituck Lighthouse, Aquarium, Family Pictures, Dinner on the Potomac, Wright Brothers Museum, and of course just being with family. It was tons of fun. Here are just some of the pictures we took.
Jayden was so good on the plane.
Super fun Park

I know that's way too many pictures to look at, but oh well. If anyone ever has the chance to go back to the Outerbanks, do it. It really was amazing. Thanks Amanda for finding it for us.
