On Mother's Day we had to stay home from church because both Jayden and Jolie had been running fevers and I didn't want them to pass it on. Well, I'm sitting on the couch with Jayden, and Jolie comes running in, looking like this and says, "Hi Mom." How can you get mad at a face like that, especially when she did such a good job. Now she insists on lipstick anytime I am getting ready. It wouldn't be such a big deal, but it's my nice MAC lipstick that I don't want her to waste. On second thought, I never wear it, at least someone should. As long as she doesn't get it on my white slipcover then I don't mind.

Our Newest Graduate
Jayden on Last Day of Joy School 5/12 --- Jayden on 1st day Joy School 9/11
The handsome Graduate
Jayden w/ Jolie
Jayden graduated from Joy School last week. You know what this means...yep, Kindergarten here we come. I took him for testing in April, and the minute I walked into the building, I started to cry. How do I have a child who is old enough for kindergarten?!? It's one of those moments when you hope you've taught them everything they need to know. He is such a special boy. I am constantly amazed at the sweet things he says and does. He loves unconditionally and is incredibly forgiving. I am so proud of the way he behaved this year during Joy School. He has a desire to be every one's friend, and wants everyone to be included. He is constantly thinking of others and will put others first(unless it comes to the color blue). Whenever we make cookies or a treat, he is always telling me to make sure and save some for Daddy. He just has the sweetest heart. I hope kindergarten doesn't ruin that. So good job my sweet little boy. We love you so much.

Ta Da List
I recently read a blog post about a Ta Da List. I always have a To Do List, but I rarely get everything accomplished on it. With a Ta Da List, you start each day with a blank list, then as you accomplish things, you write them down. When you reach 10 items, you get to take a break, or have relaxation time, or do something for you. I am going to start this today. Anyone care to join me?

Happy Birthday Jayden!
When the superheroes arrived they each got to decorate their own cape and mask. Some of the heroes preferred getting their faces painted by my sister Jeanie.
Jayden got to pick five birthday guests because he was turning 5.
Pin the batman logo on Batman.
We had hot dogs, strawberries, broccoli, Cheetos, and then every one's favorite was Joker Juice(green Kool-Aid), and Batman Juice(Gatorade).
Two of the boys had gotten Jayden the same gift. The blond on the right is asking Derek(my nephew) if he went to Target too. They were very serious.
Iron Man is a favorite too in our house.
Jayden with his birthday cake.
We also played some other games as well. I had bought silly string and we vaporized the villains. I froze a Batman and Robin action figure in a bunch of water and everybody got to shoot a squirt gun to melt the ice and unfreeze them. My favorite moment of the party was when Jolie had spilt her Joker Juice all over her shirt. She had to change right then and insisted on taking her shirt off in front of everyone. Well Jayden got the biggest kick out of this and he started to laugh uncontrollably. Everyone else then started to laugh at him because he was just so cute. Then Jolie thought everyone was laughing at her, so she decided to just strip down to nothing. It wasn't that kind of birthday party though so I put a stop to it. I sure do love my boy, and especially that laugh. He is just too cute.

Growing.Growing.Growing
Jayden Boy-Future Batman
Future Jedi
Jolie Kate- Future..Not known
Future Princess
Here are some recent pictures of Jayden and Jolie. Aren't they getting so big!?! It makes me sad looking at these, but super happy as well. We just celebrated Jayden turning 5 and he had a great birthday(birthday pictures to come). It's already getting pretty warm around here so we are hitting up the pool. These kids of mine are pretty amazing. I sure do love them and I can't believe how much they have grown just from last year. I need to savor these last few months I have with them. I have a feeling that bringing baby #3 into our house is going to rock our world. We're a growing family that's for sure.
