Goodbye Wonderful Summer...
This is our last week living here. I try not to think about it but it's hard when you're packing and forced to think about it. We have loved being up here. It's been a wonderful summer. One I didn't want to end. But it must end and we will make our new "apartment" our new home. I saw a movie recently that really helped me look at things differently. So I am going to try to stop waiting for things to happen, and enjoy the moments more. Goodbye Wonderful Summer, Hello change.

Early Birthday Party
I had a little family party for Jolie Kate. Her birthday is the 17th, but we didi it early because we're moving next week and I didn't want it to be too hectic or crazy. Amanda made the cutest invitations(I'll post other pictures later), Kamry cut the letters out for me for her banner, I made party hats, Jolie's ones, strawberry barrettes for the girl party guests, etc. We had sweet pork burritos with cilantro lime slaw hmm. For dessert we had cake balls, cupcakes, strawberries drizzled in white chocolate, and cupcakes. Jolie was wonderful and she loved her cake. She sat in her high chair almost the whole time eating tortillas, strawberries and then cake. What a doll she is. I couldn't be more happier. As I put her to bed last night I just teared up with amazement at how special she is to me. I'm so grateful to have such a sweet happy spirit. I'll post more pictures as I get my housework under control.

The Mountains
We move in officially 16 days back down to the miserable heat of the valley. I'm not too excited about it as you can tell in my tone, but that's life. A few days ago we drove up into Sunrise and enjoyed the amazing weather and all of the rain we've been getting lately. I wish I didn't have to leave, but again, that's life.
So Long, Farewell
It's a day I've been sort of dreading, but life goes on. Erica moved to Nebraska last week for Brett and her to start law school. Earlier in the week I drove down to the valley, and we surprised Erica with an early birthday and going away dinner. One last hurrah for a while. We'll miss you Erica Diane. Until Christmas love.
